Beyond flight simulation

Very Worthwhile Activities

We're all big fans of flight simulation. We find it to be a very worthwhile way to share our passion for aviation.

Of course, there are many other worthwhile activities and we'd like to point out a few of these organizations whose aims and goals are also quite important.

 Tim Dickens' Family

International Rett Syndrome Association

Tim Dickens is the Managing Editor of Flight Simulator World Magazine and one of our prime software developers. Tim, his wife Barb and his family have just experienced a tremendous loss.

Their daughter Amanda passed away recently. We would like extend our prayers and deepest sympathies to Tim and Barb Dickens and their family.

Amanda suffered from Rett Syndrome. If you would like to support an international organization that is dedicated to finding a cure for this disease on Amanda's behalf, please send your contributions to International Rett Syndrome Association.

 W.W.A.S.P.

Creating Family Unity through Education, Growth and Change

The World Wide Association of Specialty Programs is an association of residential programs designed for teens who are struggling in their home, school, or community.

If you have been "severely challenged" by your teenage son or daughter, you may want to consider one of the family-centered programs as an alternative to the mental health, legal and/or criminal justice system. Contact WWASP.

Wing Of Hope
Serving Third World Citizens Through Aviation

For those needing medical aid and food often the only way to reach the remote areas is by airplane. Wings Of Hope is staffed by hundreds of volunteers. They transport the needed goods and trained personnel by small plane to many third world countries.

If you'd like to donate an unused plane, your time or help fund their activities, please contact Wing Of Hope.
