Futuristic Rail Travel There are several "concepts trains" on the drawing board for a high speed "magnetic levitation" transport to carry passengers along heavily traveled routes. Craig Scott and Pat Malicki have lunged forward to bring you the Casino Express. It can wisk you from Barstow, California to Las Vegas at speeds approaching 300 mph. Park your car at the lot in downtown Barstow and board the Casino Express. Sit back and enjoy the quick trip through the desert and onto the adult paradise with all its excitement and glitter. To achieve this high speed, the "track" is elevated to isolate the right of way from other traffic. If you're not too anxious to hit the Strip, you can stop in Primm and spend a few hours shopping at the outlet mall. Then hop back on the next train for the quick ride to Las Vegas. |
