A. You can fly these aircraft free for up to seven days. After this trial period, you can order a Registration Key directly from us in order to unlock the trial expiration. Please keep in mind that the 7 day trial starts when you first install the aircraft.
- Q. When I select the Abacus Platinum Collection Piaggio P180 from my Flight Simulator Aircraft menu, the
Unregistered Aircraft dialog box won't allow me to click on the
Try it for free button. Why not?
A. Most likely, the seven day trial period has expired. The trail period begins the first time you click on the Try it for free button and continues for seven consecutive days. After this trial period has expired, you'll need to purchase a Registration Key to unlock the trial expiration.
Q. When I select the Piaggio P180 Avanti from the Aircraft menu, a bright yellow screen appears and I can't see the visual model of the plane. What's wrong?
A. In order to fly any of the Platinum Collection aircraft, you'll need to have a small program in your FSX main folder or FS2004 \modules folder named 'asreg01.dll'. This program keeps track of the trial period and registration information.
If you see this message, simply reinstall the aircraft, making sure that you choose your main FSX or main FS2004 folder as the destination directory.
