1. If you haven't already done so, download either of these files
to a temporary folder by clicking on the Download
button below :
AbacusDA40TDI_FSX.exe
or
AbacusDA40TDI_FS2004.exe
2. Run the program that you downloaded: either AbacusDA40TDI_FSX.exe or AbacusDA40TDI_FS2004.exe to start the InstallShield installation to your hard drive.
3. When asked to select an installation directory, choose your main FSX folder or main FS2004 folder. This is very important, so we'll repeat it again: Choose your main FSX folder or main FS2004 folder, otherwise the aircraft will not install into the correct folder and you will not be able to fly.
4. You're now ready to fly! Run you Flight Simulator

For FSX:
Select Aircraft | Select Aircraft from the menu. For Aircraft manufacturer choose Abacus Platinum Collection. You'll have a choice of one of three different DA40 TDIs: N5130A G1000, OE-DCZ VFR and F-HABJ. Choose one of the three and then click OK.
For FS2004:
Select Aircraft | Select Aircraft from the menu. For Aircraft manufacturer choose Abacus Platinum Collection and for Aircraft model choose DA40 TDI Diamond Star . For Variation choose one of these three variation: N5130A G1000, OE-DCZ VFR and F-HABJ.
6. Next, you'll see a dialog box that tells you that this is an Unregistered Aircraft.
As with all of the Platinum Collection Aircraft, you can test fly the Diamond Star for up to 7 Days. After this trial period, you can conveniently order a Registration Key which unlocks the trial expiration.
