The new version of our state-of-the-art software represents a totally new way to create flyable aircraft and 3D scenery for Microsoft FS2004 & FS2002.

For a complete installation, carefully follow these instructions

Note:
Like many others sites, our download site is incompatible with download accelerators such as Gozilla. Please disable these download accelerators while you are downloading from our ftp site.

Part 1.   Download FS Design Studio

  1. When you order FS Design Studio, you will receive a personalized registration key from us by email or phone.
     
    Please retain the registration key should you need to reinstall or update the software at a later time.
        
  2. Download the following file from our website.
     
                     Filename: AbacusFSDS_V224.exe (12.7 MB)
      
  3. Run the file AbacusFSDS_V224.exe which starts the InstallShield installation.
     
  4. You must type your personalized registration key into the Serial: field during installation.
     
  5. Carefully review the ReadMe file for any last minute notes.
     

Many new sections and tutorials have been added to the FSDS HELP. Select Help from the menu and you'll find lots of information for Getting Started with FS Design Studio.

Please read the sections carefully as they contains many of details for designing new projects.

You'll find an extensive set of Exercises that walks you through several projects - for both 3D scenery objects and for flyable aircraft. As you complete each exercise, you'll have learned several new commands.

The Design Workshop has information on various topics, many of them for intermediate and advanced users.

The Quick Tips has short, concise advice for performing many commonly required design tasks.

You'll also find a Reference section with convenient information.

From time to time we will update the contents of the HELP file which you can easily download to update your FS Design Studio package.
