Flying the F-16C Flying Falcon

Install the F-16C into your FSX \SimObject\Airplanes folder or FS2004 \aircraft folder. If you haven't alredy done so, follow the instructions on our installation page. You can see the beautiful exterior from spot plane view by press the 'S' key three times When you "walk around", you'll see: If they aren't already on, press Ctrl-Enter to start the engines and see the props spin. Move the stick forward and back to see the elevator move up and down. Move the stick from side to side to see the rudder and ailerons move. Press F8 to lower the flaps. Takeoff Taxi out and position the aircraft on the runway center line. Set flaps up (F5) and and then using full throttle, accelerate and liftoff at about 120 knots. Normal climb speed is about 115 mph. When abeam the end of the runway, retract the landing gear ('G'). Climb to your desired cruising altitude and set throttle to cruising speed, which is 400 mph. Landing Set the engine mixture to rich and approach the runway at about 150 knots. Drop full flaps when your speed is below 150 mph. Touch down at about 120 knots on main gear and gently lower the nose gear.
