|
| STEP 3
You're immediately taken to the Moving Parts Wizard.
Aircraft Animator looks through your FS98 and/or CFS folders and displays a list of all of the aircraft in your respective system.
To switch between Flight Simulator 98 and Combat Flight Simulator, select from the Flight Simulator pull-down box.
To choose an aircraft to animate, select from the Aircraft pull-down box.
Click Next.
|
|
| STEP 4
The "magic" of Aircraft Animator comes from its ability to interpret the makeup of the aircraft from the visual model file (*.mdl). By methodically analyzing the structure, it's able to determine which parts can be animated.
Knowing this information, Aircraft Animator displays a list of the control surfaces which it is able to animate.
In the example to the right, you can animate the landing gear, the flaps and add landing lights to this aircraft.
The propellers can't be animated - perhaps this aircraft has a jet engine. Nor can the spoilers be animated - perhaps this aircraft does not have spoilers.
Check the boxes for the parts you'd like to animate and click Next.
|
|
| STEP 5
For most aircraft, the last step is to Save the aircraft and return to the wizard to animate additional aircraft.
If you're done animating, choose the second option to exit from Aircraft Animator.
If you want to perform more detailed animation, choose Proceed with manual editing.
Click Finish to end the Moving Parts Wizard.
Fire up your plane and watch the parts move!
