Takeoff
Taxi out to the runway.

Set flaps for takeoff (full). Set the brakes (. key) and advance the throttle. When N1 is 80%, release the brakes.

When your speed reaches 120 knots, pull back on the stick gently to liftoff.

When abeam the end of the runway, retract the landing gear ('G') and climb to assigned altitude.

Landing

With such a large aircraft, you'll want to have a long straight-in approach so as to avoid any abrupt maneuvers.

Use full flaps. Approach speed is about 140 knots.

We encourage greasers. With such a large, heavy aircraft, you'd like to minimize the stress on the landing gear.
