Scenery Apprentice brings you a totally new way to create 3D scenery objects Flight Simulator. It comes to you from Louis Sinclair who also developed FS Design Studio. Louis is happy to place a low-cost tool into the hands of all flight simmers.

Downloading Scenery Apprentice

If you haven't already done so, you'll have to download the Scenery Apprentice installation files from our site.

To minimize the size of the download files we have separated Scenery Apprentice into two parts:

Part 1 contains the program, sample and Help files. Part 1 is required.

Part 2 contains a large repository of projects, parts and textures that are added to the Scenery Apprentice Library. Part 2 is optional.

After you have downloaded the files, refer to the following steps to complete your installation.


 Installing Scenery Apprentice

  1. Start the installation program 'AbacusFSDSA.exe' which will copy the the program, sample and Help files to the proper directory on your hard drive.
       
  2. During installation, you'll be asked to type a Serial #.
       
    If you've already purchased a registration key, type this number in the Serial edit field. Otherwise type
    demo to use Scenery Apprentice in Demonstration Mode.
       

       
    When the installation has ended, please read the file "Read Me Scenery Apprentice" which contains any late minute information.
       
  3. If you've also downloaded Part 2, start the installation program AbacusFSDSA_Lib.exe which will copy additional Library projects, parts and textures to your Scenery Apprentice folders.
       
  4. Start the Scenery Apprentice program and begin by selecting Help | Help from the menu which will get you on your way to 3D scenery design.
