Answer: This occurs on a few of the newer PCs. Here are three ways for getting this missing module:

  1. Download from Microsoft Website http://www.microsoft.com/visualc/prodinfo/archives/download/mfc42cab.htm
  2. Download from Abacus Site http://www.flightsimdownloads.com/pub/mfc42.dll (950KB)
  3. By mail from Abacus Tech Support We'll send a 1.44MB diskette

After you have the module, copy it to your \windows\system folder.
