Cessna Aircraft sees a demand for a small aircraft in the "very light jet" category and will soon introduce the Mustang.
When available, the Mustang will cruise at 340 knots at altitudes to 41,000 ft. Powered by two PW615F turbofan engines, it can operate at smaller airports with 3,100 ft runways.
Cessna plans to deliver the first production models later in 2007. Based on published specifications, designer Tolga Piskin has modeled the new Cessna Mustang.
Ths Mustang includesa "glass primary flight display" designed by Tony D'Ambrosio.
