The AH-64C Apache is a two-crew aircraft that serves as the US Army's primary attack helicopter. It's desinged to fight both day and night in adverse weather conditions.
The AH-64D Apache, nicknamed the Longbow, is similar to the C version but contains the Fire Control Radar (FCR) target aquisition system mounted above the rotors, the fire-and-forget air to ground missles and a fully integrated cockpit.

The gun sight is built into the pilot's helmut which means that the weapons follow the movement of the pilot's head. The Apache is heavily armored and is capable of withstanding fire from weapons up to 23mm in critical areas.
