There are seven national parks nearby, real dinosaur tracks only 10 miles away, Indian artifacts, and much more At Sky Ranch the homes are adjacent to the runway. You can taxi your plane from your driveway onto the 4400' paved and lighted runway. With such convenience, you're airborne in just minutes. When the wind is calm call UNICOM on 123.05 and make right traffic for runway 16. When friends fly in to visit, they'll find lots of tie-downs. During the evening, the pilot controlled lighting turns on with 5 "clicks". Three certified AP mechanics have homes at Sky Ranch, so you can have your plane serviced by a neighbor. You can also fly a short distance to St George - about 12 miles away - for more extensive maintenance. We've recreated Sky Ranch especially for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002. Now you can enjoy the same environment that has attracted outdoor-lovers to this unique flying community. We invite you to join us at the virtual FS Sky Ranch where you can hop out of your bed, have a quick breakfast and then jump into the left-hand seat for a little siteseeing.

The real Grassy Meadows Sky Ranch (UT47) is a planned airport community in beautiful southern Utah. Located just six miles south of the town of Hurricane, it's set against the colorful Hurricane Cliffs. According to resident Nick Berg, "we are where the vast, cactus-covered Mojave Desert meets the lush grandeur of the Colorado Plateau's red rock country".
