Since 1986, hobbyists have been building this high performance kitplane in droves. The kit has just about eveything that you'll need. Just add an engine and prop and you're just about ready to go.

But even virtual pilots often are unable to build a kit, so Terry Hill has done the assembly for you.

This slick composite plane can easily reach more than 200 knots airspeed. And it has a range of more than 1200 miles. What a machine.

The Glasair III is also included as one of the 13 aircraft in our Private Pilot package. And now it's available separately on a "try before you buy" basis.

Finely Crafted Details

Take a close up look at the Glasair. You'll surely notice the gently curved surfaces. Look past the smoked, transparent glass and you'll see our own tech support specialist Paul Lee sitting in the left seat.

Take a peek inside the cockpit and you'll see the utmost detail. Not only are the pilot's hands on the yoke, his feet are also on the rudder pedals!.

Then step back and enjoy his incredible painting skills. This plane is destined to be a classic.

The movable flaps, rudder, elevators and landing gear are created using Aircraft Animator.
