Aiport & Scenery Designer

Learning Guide and Tutorial

For Use With FS2000

This document will help guide you through the process of learning to design scenery with Airport & Scenery Designer (ASD) for FS2000.

You can click on any menu item, or toolbar button on the top and receive a brief definition in the Tool Quick View in the upper right hand corner.  Many of these definitions will have active links to more detailed explanations in the document.  Likewise, throughout the document you will see many terms highlighted in green.  These are also active hyperlinks to definitions that will appear in the Tool Quick View.

You will also see active hyperlinks thought each page of the document that will send you to relevant topics in greater detail.  These topics will appear here in the main window frame.

The directory on the left hand window frame outlines the basic format of this Learning Guide and Tutorial.  We recommend that those who are new to ASD follow the order sequence of these topics, particularly with respect to first setting up you ASD preferences, then moving on to the step-by-step instructions for creating airports, and so on.

The Learning Guide and Tutorial is also quite useful as a general reference document.  Details on all of ASD's powerful features are incorporated throughout, and are easy accessible from the directory, or through hyperlinks.

We hope you find this useful in your scenery design efforts.
