Writing is something that I have done for most of my professional life. Way back in 1978 we started Abacus as a publisher of books and computer software. Over these past 30 years, I have served as an editor for many of the hundreds of books that we’ve published since, written and edited many of the articles for a magazine that we acquired and later sold and for our various websites, for FS Free Press and as a contributor to other publications. So writing isn’t new to me.
However, this is my first personal blog so I hope you’ll stay with me while I get my bearings.
Although I don’t have a solid plan of where I’d like to go with this blog, I do have a solid idea of how I plan to write for it: simply, straight-forward and respectfully.
This being “Arnie’s Blog”, I believe that I’m free to inject a lot of personal views into my posts.
In my 30 years at Abacus, I’ve met and made a lot of friends and I hope to make a lot more going forward. Thanks for reading. I welcome your comments and feedback.
